e.maths 1: 8/10. kinda bad i forgot so many things

bio: 7/10. i messed up the mcq really badly. other than that it was ok.

physics: 10/10. i'd be really really happy if i pass

lit: 7/10. no time!!!!! omg i don't see the point of a time limit.

chem prac: 7/10. stupid paper had contradicting instructions.

well it's maths week next week!! i need to practice really hard over the weekend, then i'll go catch spider man 3 on friday and session after that. and jing is watching it tmr. so unfair. i hope you're reading this. chinese calls!

well it's that time again.

physics practical: 6/10. i messed up one of the calculations but other that that it was ok. but it's PHYSICS. anything can happen during physics.

EL 2: 5/10. generally easy but i thought we only had 1h 20 mins so i was rushing like mad. it turned out we had 1h 40 mins -.-

Geog 2: 7/10. 6 marks gone!!!!! i thought we had 15 mins left. just as i was about to start on the last question the time was up. wasted. man if i don't get my A1 because of this....other than that it was slightly difficult but not a killer.

well it's science week next week! chem, physics and bio TYS will be my listening ear and constant companion for the weekend. and i handed up my CCA report! now i can finally concentrate. and jing will be watching spiderman 3. while i'm studying. oooo i hate her.

well back to the paper grading with 10 being the hardest again. last post till the weekend i promise.

EL1: 6/10. a repeat of last year! i wrote 1/4 of everything and ended up choosing one. other than that it was ok

SS: 6/10. paper was quite reasonable except for SBQ and the serious lack of time.

physics prac tmr!! must revise. the good part is that i'm sleeping in and only waking up at 10! i'm in the 2nd shift so don't start till 11.15! should be fun. they've been quite merciful to us so far. good job examiners don't screw us up please. and i'm not that emo as the test below shows. or at least i don't show it.

haha the past few days have been quite fun. i've been religiously revising till 9 pm then from 9 till like 11 is my break time. where i talk and talk and talk to the 'wholesome, bubbly and sister-approved' jing for 2 hours. i didn't fall asleep till 12.30 last night. or this morning to be more accurate. CCA BRIEFING TMR!!!!!!! PRELIM REPORT ON FRIDAY!!!! my gosh i swear HQ could not have picked a better time for this. right in the middle of my mid years. almost makes me not wanna go. almost. i'll have to rush the report AND hike route over the weekend. crap this is annoying. i should be done with SS by monday and geog by sunday, which leaves me a week and a bit to finish bio, chem and physics. i started earlier this year! and i'm off to get my haircut now i can't stand my long hair.

Bowling

my goodness. i just bowled my personal best today at the clementi district bowling championships. when it really counted. 161. 3 strikes in a row. ha. my first game was really terrible. like 78. then mr soo said " it's ok the other 2 teams will win". then they bowled 2 bad games while we bowled 2 good games after that haha. vince is owning. he spared on a split cos one pin hit the other haha. well yeah in the end ACS(I) came in first and third. my team came in first! cliff, vince, clement and i. anyway we went to jack's place after that where i got robbed of all my money by the sirloin steak. maths tuition and then cycled to tanglin mall to test bio with jo and luke. very productive. like one and a half hours of testing followed by an hour's worth of cards. i taught them 7 of Diamonds and now they're hooked. so is JML and GK. then my bike got wet cos it rained and i cycled down the whole hill leading down to my house with no hands. irrelavant but nvm. math time!

well we got best item for RGS! yeah props to RI and the others but yeah. best item at raffles! i would really like to thank them a lot. it means so much cos it was our last performance. and we had an amazing run as dance committee 06/07. our rehearsals were so amazingly relaxed. so was the perf. well yeah it was fun. vid will be up soon!

wow yesterday was considerably productive. i spent like three and a half hours online talking to jing. haha it passed really fast. time flies when you're having fun i guess. the only reason i could do that without feeling guilty was because i practiced a lot of maths that afternoon. fun fun fun. maths is so fun.

i realized acs guys are really vain. when i used the toilet just now i saw like 5 guys gelling up their hair and everything and really trying to look good. i mean there's nothing wrong with looking good but yeah. overkill really.i think they spent like 10-ish minutes cos my friend who was taking a dump told me that they spent really long in there. i was doing a chinese compo and it was talking about appearances. is there really a need to look so blemish-free and immaculately groomed? i mean yeah decent grooming is necessary. but like combing, gelling, stlying and then more gelling? is that really necessary? the good thing is it's not all of them but a few bunch of certain ppl which constitute to this class. it's most likely cos of the girls in our sch now. and i feel that our culture is so westernized and is always focusing on outward appearances and what not. this may sound really cliche but i personally don't like girls who starve themselves and put on tons of make-up. cos sometimes they turn out to be really gossipy and stuff. i know you think that this is a stereotype and i admit it is. i would like a girl who is like healthily plump and not stick thin like some bullimic model. and a girl who puts on minimal make-up. cos if these ppl spend as much time working on their personality as much as they do on their appearance the world would be better. no bitching, gossiping, backstabbing and what have you. just my 2 cents. anyway it feels good to rant. i haven't ranted in ages haha.

revision is a bitch. well i have 4 chapters of geog and like 18 chapters of bio left to revise. not to mention all of physics and chem. and ss. oh well. 2 more weeks. it's possible. i've decided not to study tonight cos i've been good and practicing maths. or maybe i should just finish off natural resources and the pros and cons of volcanoes. ah depends on my mood. and who's online. RGS performance on friday. i wanted to end off at MGS cos it was like the best possible note you could end off on. but if we get best item on friday it'll be close. realistically, we won't. cos it's raffles. raffles hates us. but if we do clinch it, it'l be all good. not as good as MGS cos MGS was really the best best best best times a million. but it'll be good enough. till friday then.

One Week

wow time has seriously flown by. to think at this very moment, 7 days ago, we were so nervous and anxiously rehearsing for our Dance Dance performance. ONE WEEK. anyway yeah this weekend has been rather eventful.

THURSDAY
stayed back to help for first class camp with the scouts and then went to lido to watch mr bean with GK, luke, vince, nick and joash. haha that night almost turned into a fiasco cos nick didn't have a ticket at first. anyway it wasn't as silly as expected. 7.5/10 haha. as usual, it promised a lot of laughter. then we went to macs and played bridge for like half an hour. then GK and JML came to sleepover and we slept at like 2? JML farted in my room like 12 times throughout the course of the night.

FRIDAY
had tuition and then we swam for awhile. then joash came over. very productive. we tested each other in geog and yeah. good refresher. then Lawry's for dinner cos my older sister was treating! went with my grandma, jie and her bf. following that, ben, joel and isaac came over to play xbox and didn't leave till 1 am haha.

SATURDAY
went to help out with first class camp again today. played bridge and got a few vids from cliff's mac. chongyong is a camwhore and he has yet to send me the pics he took today. managed to cover a bit of geog! sigh i bet you guys are bored.

i seriously don't feel like working today. i'm going to play nba street haha. on LEGENDARY mode. bye!

well today was half as bad as i had expected it to be. shall not elaborate though. um yeah i'm still waiting for my dance dance pictures from lampy and whoever i can get them from. and i PASSED MY FIRST CLASS HIKE!!!!!! yeah quite happy about that. thanx for marking my rubbish david tan huang loong. saturday night is still firmly imprinted in my memory and i can't help but reliving that night over and over again cos it was such awesome FUN!!!! i've been scavenging for any collectibles i could obtain and i'm trying to persuade jeremy to give me the dance dance poster. well here's the video!

The Actual Dance Dance

well Dance Dance went amazingly well. considering our total lack of practice and stuff, we were all totaly in sync during the performance. and the judges said it was well-rehearsed!!! lol haha anyway we came in 3rd which is actually a huge bonus cos personally i wasn't thinking of getting anything at all. but once i heard the cheers and screams from all those beautiful people who came to support us i thought 'this would be one of our best performances ever'. and it was. better than SCGS and even TKGS. first place went to SAJC who really really deserved it cos they were like 100 times better than us and second went to the MGS dance group. still awaiting the vid though. but it should be pretty nice. sorry i didn't take any pics but the atmosphere was electrifying. then i had some random ppl asking me for photos haha. not that i'm a narcissist but it was an interesting experience. rockerfella, vince, nick and ezra went to KAP after that and yeah. most likely the last performance for this year cos i need to start studying for MID-YEARS. if you see me online tmr before 9pm pls ask me to get off. thanx and especially to all our supporters!

well the Dance Dance rehearsal was a complete disaster. the curtain closed halfway, we were messy and forget our routine. well hopefully that was a wake-up call for all of us since TMR IS THE ACTUAL PERFORMANCE. well hopefully it'll go well. hopefully other stuff goes well too. should have pics from tmr and i just hope we don't screw up haha. time will tell. night.

ugh bean was full. so on sat night ben, dwayne, gk and i went to watch stomp the yard. i'd rate it about 7/10. it was really really predictable haha. but anyway yeah the popping and whatever-walking was excellent. a lot of dancer's arrogance and we need that haha. lacked bboy moves. we all thought he was gonna rollback 2000 at some point then it turned out to be a rollback forearm. -.-. anyway yeah today was cool. only had 1h 40 mins worth of lessons cos chem and ss didn't come and the rest were like PE, chapel and PC haha. we need more days like this. MGS in 5 days!!!!

haha i'll never forget our gangshow 2007. our gangshow. screwed up man haha. 2 hours of prep only. well it was a really fulfilling experience in my opinion, although the others didn't think so. i thought it was quite alright, cos it didn't really seemed like we messed up haha. at least it was memorable! no the mgs perf. will redeem the gangshow perf. here's the MGS Dance Dance audition vid. i thought it was pretty good. enjoy!

A Hike And Dance

well that covers it. 49 @$# kilometers on an injured foot. i swear i have not been covered with THIS much aches and pains in my whole life ever. like my hamstrings are unwilling to move the slightest bit. it was hot, humid and really really far. the only thing that kept the hike bearable was the knowledge that i'm one step closer to my CCA and that ROCKERFELLA CREW GOT INTO THE DANCE DANCE FINALS!!!!! yeah dawn sms-ed me during the hike. NJC and SAJC bboys got in too. i'd like to see what they're like. yeah and gangshow 2007 is tmr and we haven't even started choreographing yet!!! yeah we hope to pull off another TKGS and choreo it within 2 hours lol. haha we can do it! i'm also happy to say that i've finished all my holiday homework! i actually finished it like on monday so yeah. haha anyway pics will be up soon. sleep well.

well letters from iwo jima was very enlightening. i give it 8/10 cos it was really really good. they way they captured it from the japanese viewpoint, it really shows you the brutality of war which is really really sad. and the sacrifice and such fanatic love for their country can just blow your mind. excellent excellent film. haha nothing much to blog about. i've been watching a lot of family guy lately though haha. yeah. i love the holidays. oh well yuan zhi got pranked today. he didn't know what my shirt said when the picture was taken and was thus blissfully unaware haha. have fun!

This Sucks

this bites. while runing yesterday, i landed on the side of my left foot and may have ruptured my lateral ligament. 4 days before my hike. nice. it'll take 6 weeks to heal completely. i just pray that it is in fit-walking condition by saturday cos i know i have 49km to walk on that day. and sunday. man this sucks really. at least it's much better now compared to yesterday. yeah keep me in your prayers cos i'll really need my ankle to be well and whole by saturday. no more bboying for 2 weeks at least.

well i went for this russian ice-skating thing last night at sentosa. this girl could do a perfectly balanced flag on the guys hand. insane. yeah and they would like spin 6 times in the air in one twist, and like 20 times on the ice. INSANE. quite a good performance. i got 74 for my chinese class test and 13 for my SS class test. 13/13. for the mathematically challenged, that's FULL MARKS BABY!!!!!!! yeah so that's a plus. just pray that my ankle gets better by saturday. toodles.

The Audition

IMO the audition went pretty well. considering we choreographed everything on thursday. ha. anyway yeah minor screw ups. cliff stumbled during his airfreeze, i forgot to downrock, and chris mis-stabbed his jackhammer. well mandy thinks we're gonna get in so i'm quite content with that. SAJC and NJC are auditioning on next friday and rumour has it that it's another bboy performance. haha i just hope we get into the finals. after that dwayne, cliff, chris, gk and i went to cathay and tried to catch norbit but we missed the show. so we just walked around and we parted ways. haha the picture is on the way i'm waiting for the organizer to come online so she can send it to me. let's be patient now chris.

well blogger conked on me. anyway scouts' day was really fun and chongyong took many many pics. today we sessioned a bit, which was quite productive. then best part was when louis, cliff, dwayne, fredric chongyong and i went to the SAC and after eating we tried to balance chairs on their 2 legs. really really lame but it was lots of fun haha. we also choreographed louis' YMCA mass dance for him which was quite fun too. oh well. i'll leave you with the pics

well the rest of the chinese new year passed by quite uneventful. i loved the one extra day holiday though. i went to MGS in the morning to drop off the comp. form, then i went to great world to meet luke and cliff to watch norbit. they didn't let us in cos it was NC16. then we went to cathay and they didn't even check our ICs and let us in haha. weird. anyway norbit was slapstick but it was still funny. 7/10 from me. then i went to session in sch with cliff, chris, paul and stace. i'm trying to get airchairs now and i have already amassed a healthy number of bruises haha. today was quite fun. oh well. bye!

Bonnie and the Failed E.Maths Test

all i can say is GG for the e.maths test. 10 minutes late. SCDF siren. drong's speech which distracted us. pythiagras theorem which wasn't even supposed to come out. 8 questions. 2 graphs. all in 50 minutes. GG. on a brighter note, chem, physics and chinese was reasonably easy. i got a 65 on my chinese, which is quite ok considering i got 6/20 for my close passage and 24/45 for my comprehension. we also got a new dog! her name is bonnie and she's a very cute and tiny boxer puppy. and she's only 8 weeks old!!! argh i want to squish her. i went back to hpps today and went to ben's house after that for awhile. i got my standing front somers! a lot from ben's help haha. anyway yeah. CNY weekend which will be fun. i'm gonna sleep in tmr. oh well. bye!

happy valentine's day! <3<3<3<3!! to a lot of people's surprise, i did have a date today. the lovely, enchanting....#&%@ physics testbook. ha. well i've sat for my chem test and i have to say it was quite easy. physics and e.maths tmr. i'm just worried for physics. we just need to draw graphs and histoROgrams for e.maths (inside joke) haha. well floorskillz vid is on youtube but i don't feel like putting it here. march will be very busy for me. first class hike from the 10th to the 11th, gangshow performance on the 17th, st margaret's performance on the 23rd and RGS on the 30th. we must win at RGS. if we do, we will have come full circle. i can't wait! there's nothing like the thrill of being on stage amidst screaming people. nice.

well on the subject of valentine's day, it's quite amusing when my sister asked me to marry ______ so we will have cute little ______ babies and my wife would be the cousin of her best friend. amazing really how she can come up with all these theories. all my female relationships are strictly friendship-based and nothing more than that. yes chris you heard me CORRECTLY. 16 is too early for a relationship, although my sister started dating in sec 2. i remember i was her chaperone and the 3 of us went to watch Shaolin Soccer and he treated me to Genki Sushi. that's it for today i guess.

PROPS TO superHUMAN FOR COMING IN SECOND AT FLOORSKILLZ!!! i heard they were super dope and the final battle was very drama. greg hurt his ankle so it was 2v2. darkhammers versus 90s. i think they did an amazing job considering their age. flare-unstab mills-darkhammers-suicide. dope. anyway yeah church friends are over at my house and i'm really in no mood to play xbox with them. it's just so passe. well i played one round of swords. 25-5-4-3. and i wasn't killed at all haha. bboying has killed all my need to watch TV and play xbox for some reason haha. that and the huge amounts of homework. i was amazingly disciplined today. i had chinese tuition, then i practiced e.maths for my test tmr, and then i did my zuo wen in 15 minutes. 3 pages and it's not full of crap. usually i take one and a half hours cos i procrastinate. well good improvement haha.

omg Floorskillz was so amazing. even though we didn't get far, it was an extremely fulfilling experience. lol thanx neil for coming down, and mandy for at least trying to come down haha. anyway, i think the best part was just the atmosphere and the whole spirit of the event. amazing. we didn't totally screw up our sets which was good. overall a really really fun day. sorry i've got no pics! only a vid but it's not fantastic. tell me if you want it yeah? anyway i left before it ended. i hope superHUMAN gets into the finals and wins something haha. test week this week so yeah. but it doesn't matter cos Floorskillz was fun!! anyway it's just a chapter of chem and physics. no biggie. prefect's investiture tmr and i can't wait to see the looks of my friends when they see my hair, or lack of it haha. night!

The Day Before The Battle

well the day is here. i am 14 and a half hours away from Floorskillz. i think Floorskillz has brought the 3 of us together in more ways than one, and i'm thankful for that. thankful for the friends i have and stuff. as long as i get through the preliminaries and into the quarterfinals, i'll be content. no winning, no anguish and i'm aiming low. it's our first ever serious battle, and i really hope God guides our hearts and our spirits and souls when we dance. to remember our crew sets and to give us peace while facing the opponent. i'm surprisingly calm cos i know we've done our best. it's up to God to do the rest. for those interested, here are the details. support superOOPS, superHUMAN and Rockerfella. the 2 supers are Kyensai + Greg, and cliff, chris and i are in rockerfella.

i swear they're out to kill us. i've got an enlgish test tmr, as well as a chinese test. and then next week, i've got back to back tests from tuesday to thursday, with physics, chem and then e.maths. ugh. i must mug oover the weekend, which will prove to be somewhat challenging as FLOORSKILLZ IS IN 4 DAYS TIME!!!! i'm kinda nervous cos i'm scared i mess up my set. and of course a lot of people i know are going down to watch so that adds to the scare factor. and we haven't nailed our crew sets yet. anyway, on the bright side, it'll be a great experience. and on another good point, i got my one-hand forearm drop! finally! and on another bright note, i got an 82.5 for my SS, improving by 0.5 marks from last year.yep. chinese test tmr and i have to go and study. ok bye!

well the weekend has almost come and gone. it wasn't a complete waste. i practiced maths and watched....get this.... 4 hours of Prison Break and 2 hours of Family Guy! that was niiiice. then chris, cliff and i went to Regency Park to session at the basketball court. then a bunch of kids came so we let them use like 3/4 of the court. then they went to tell the security guard and he asked us to go somewhere else. like what the heck? unreasonable. lol nvm then we went home and ordered Macs and just relaxed. extremely unproductive, but fun haha. pictures!

-it keeps you fit. since i started bboying, i haven't gotten sick by some infernal virus or bacteria. food poisoning and fatigue doesn't count
-it builds up your bod. for all the guys (and even girls) aspiring to get a six pack, then this hobby is for you! rock-hard pecs, biceps, triceps and quadriceps are just a handstand away!
-it's not only a great form of exercise, but it also improves your balance, strength, stamina and beat-appreciation. very good for clubbers.
-excellent form of stress and frustraion relief! just take out all your troubles on the floor, and let the music soother your soul and shake you to the very core!

CONS

-not for the injury prone. like vince 'winning man' tan. he can a wrist injury from a handglide. it's amazing really.
-you'll feel super shacked after each session. learning new moves are exremely tiring and often demoralizing. but getting the move down once and for all is a feeling that you'll never forget.

chris, cliff and i sessioned for like 2 hours for today, and then cliff and i are sessioning tmr during the white space. haha IB suckers! no offence though. anyway yeah then on sat we're gonna searc for a void deck in my neighbourhood to session in. most likely one of the nearby condos. should be fun. floorskillz in exactly 10 days time! haha should be fun. lol kyensai is so gonna win lah. edmund's sets are mad, and so is yuan hao's. when we get knocked out i'm gonna stay and watch them win the $500 grand prize.

it's offical. bon jovi is now my 3rd favourite rock band, just behind blink 182 and the hush sound. because of amanda haha. anyway yeah. his rock ballads are just so awesome. on another note, family guy is now my favourite cartoon. i swear it's soooooo funny and so full or sattire. and all the characters compliment each other so well. there's peter, the fat father, lois the mother, megan the hormonal daughter, chris the stupid son, brian the talking dog and stewie the evil genius baby. hilarious. must watch! anyway today was eventful. 2.4km run, and it all started out fine. then on the 3rd lap i was like 'why are my lips so parched?'. then i realized i didn't have anything to eat or drink since the previous day. i had to stop for water TWICE and i hadn't finished my run yet. plast. i could've gone under 11mins if i wasn't so foolish. anyway i clocked 11.16, which is pretty decent for me. of course you get the Ironman like ben chong who gets 9.10 and lampy who gets 10.36 and yeah. i got pwned. anyway yeah must watch family guy!!!

Gym

well i've submitted my first class report. i'm just hoping for the best i guess. anyway yeah today was quite fun. went to the gym with chris and cliff. and by gym i mean gymnasium, not work-out gym. anyway yeah more front somers. after more than 2 months of lying dormant, i've improved! i can do standing somers now from standing position on springy floor. chris has perfected his running one (more or less) and cliff still...um... has a long way to go haha. but he's getting there. height helps a lot. or should i say lack of height haha. i'm 170cm now ok don't mess. anyway stace was there and was giving cliff tips. anyway yes breakdancing competition on the 11th! i bet cliff is like the happiest person in the world cos i can compete. he was bugging me the WHOLE week about Floorskillz. btw if you're interested, it's on the 11th of February at SMU, arts place from 6 to 10pm. well the 3 of us, being chris, cliff and i, do not intend to win. although it's inter-school, we're gonna get pwned. i expect to be done by 7 haha. and i can watch prison break online now! thanx to wesley and b00bs. and now amandais super happy cos she can see her beautiful wentworth miller anytime she wants haha. anyway till next time!

well the new school year has started in avengeance, and it's not showing any signs of mercy. just over the weekend, i've got e.maths and a.maths homework, one lit and one english essay, a physics, bio and chem worksheet each and now i have to study geog. gr. anyway i got my pike! well more or less and a bit undefined but still a pike nonetheless. cliff has gotten his airbaby too so that's cool. i did my front somer onto a float in the pool, which was the same height, and i landed perfectly. the next big leap (no pun intended) is grass, which will be really really REALLY scary, cos it's solid. so if i land on my head it's practically game over. oh well. i have more than enough time to get it before the gangshow. march 17th. i can't wait. i've got a bit of my popping back, so that's a plus as well. excuse my random post cos i've got a lot of stuff on my mind. prison break is sooooooo awesome!!! i'm dying to find out what happened but mandy wouldn't tell me so i was gonna search wiki, but i didn't cos i was too conflicted. crap. gathering thoughts. i can't stay on the same subject for long. screw it. good night.

i'm back from LDP!!! while others feel it was a hell-hole, i personally think it was one of the greatest experiences of my life!!! so much bonding and in these camps the best and worst of ppl are brought out. here's briefly what we did

THURSDAY
long bus ride to the campsite, where we moved to tents. it rained really heavily last night while the Scouts ran around pitching up tents for other ppl. dinner was rice and a small piece of egg about the size of 2 one dollar coins. we supplemented it with cheeseballs haha.

FRIDAY
navigation and rafting! navigation was so so easy and Avinash was shouting at least 2 swear words in each sentence. we rafted in the sea with waist high marine clay, and that was super super fun. we cooked dinner ourselves with sardines, eggs and veggie. i fried the egg in almost complete darkness!

SATURDAY
kayaking was fun again with the marine clay. we moved to the actual civilized campsite and everyone who was holding in their poo let it all out. we had a lot of free time, where Boobs and i wrestled and the others playyed bridge.

SUNDAY
very clogged toilets and a scolding. some others and i volunteered to clean it up. we had high rope stuff in the morning and rock climbing in the afternoon.

MONDAY
everyone was in high spirits cos it was the last day. we had abseiling and flying fox, and then the Animal Clans came over (cos we were split up Humans and Animals) for the Great Clash. as predicted, it was a tie but the Humans totally owned the Animals cos we were so so SO united as one when we cheered. pasar malam at night with free Ramly burgers!

TUESDAY
bus ride back to Singapore while watching Mr Bean and Rocky VI on the way back. went to Macs with clif, david and vince for some proper food.

First Day

first day of school. somewhat uneventful. we got 3 nice teachers so that's great. this year of 2007 should prove to be very...interesting, in one way or another. sec 4! well according to dr ong, year 4. well nvm that, we have long pants! our symbol of authority and power ( in secondary school that is). i saw stef during recess too. jasper, cliff and i were sitting at the amphi during recess and suddenly all the sec 1s left and sat somewhere else. haw haw. the long pants must exude some unspeakable aura of sheer power and dominance! heeheehee. anyways yeah we had PLC, then cliff, dwayne, fred and i went to session for half an hour. i was quite tired so i didn't accomplish much.

A Week of Fun

well i did quite a lot of stuff over the past week. on the 26th jed came over to play xbox and then the wongs and jie and i went to SICC to bowl. unfortunately, juniors can't introduce guests, which is actually a very stupid rule but nvm we played pool instead. i then went to session at Pines and then chris and his bro slept over. scout camp ensued on the next day with many futile attempts at pioneering so we did stock taking instead. same thing happened the next day. then yesterday jed, ted and ben came over tpo play xbox. the best part of the day had to be cycling with david and clifford. we met at tanglin mall for dinner and then cycled to serene, which was too crowded so we cycled down orcha4rd road to wheelock place and had supper there.

merry christmas! ah i've decided not to put the pictures up till late december or january. i don't feeeeeeeel like it. anyway yeah i've got lots of stuff lined up. holiday homework is one. my godbro is coming over tonight, and i'm sessioning tmr with cliff and chris, who are then staying over. i'm skipping prefect camp to go for scout camp haha. quite satisfied and it's good that bongard is so understanding. either that or he just wanted to get rid of me cos he was busy. anyhow, it worked out. i've finished reading cell, and the ending was crap. stupid cliffhanger. then i've finished reading my Star Wars: Path of Destruction. it talks about the rise of the Sith and Darth Bane. it was AWESOME. the best christmas present i've ever had since the Power Ranger Megazoid i got when i was 5 haha. not that i like it now. anyway yeah it's not even out in singapore yet cos we got it from the US.

christmas is too commercialized. it's not even the birthdate of Jesus. IMO, the birth of Jesus is not as significant as his death, cos it was his death that redeemed us from sin, and not his birth. sorta like the chicken and the egg but nevermind. anyway studies show that the constellation that guided the 3 wise men appears in mid september. also, the inns were full cos of a jewish festival on the 11th of september, that's why Jesus was born in a manger. that's most likely why the terrorists struck on 9/11, cos it was Jesus' birthday. just a bit of info to signify the occasion. haha anyway enjoy what's left of your christmas!

well i'm airport now in the first class lounge. not that i'm going first class. we got upgraded...for the lounge. haha. anyway i got some really really cool shirts from this shop called Hot Topic in LA. we stayed at beverly hills and we saw all the rich ppl's houses, like Shaq has a basketball court in his room! talk about oppulence. we also went to Universal Studios. that was heaps if fun. we met a few singaporeans there, like katrina and her family and some other ppl. we ate at a chinese restaurant, my first taste of chinese food in 9 days and it's heavenly. man i can't do without chinese food. if i live here i'll go mad. hamburgers and beef for 9 days straight can drive you crazy! i saw a pretty good popper too. quite skilled. i got me a starwars poster too haha. denver city was quite fun too, albeit the cold. went up to the mountains and stuff. there's a huge blizzard here too so that sucks. oh man i've got so much to talk about but i don't want to bore you guys to sleep. my godbro from NZ is coming over to our house on the 25th, so that's cool. i still have heaps of HW to do and lots of prep for my hike that hasn't been completed yet. man this holiday is like a dream, cos it's almost over. yeah the one thing i miss is all my friends and bboying and chatting with them. expect pictures!

Skiing

well i'm halfway through my holiday now. i had so much fun skiing and now my shins hurt haha. short post cos i have to leave for denver city soon. i'm in vail now, which is a ski place. i met a few new ppl on the slopes but didn't get their e-mails. haha i have many pics and have been waking up at 6AM to watch spongebob and the fairly oddparents.i'll be in denver city for the next 3 days and LA for the other 3 days. oh well. alrighty then. expect a pictorial update! see you on the 23rd!!

The Hike

well after 28.55km, 10 descriptions and 4 hours of sleep at a pavillion in East Coast Park i am back! i have to say attending this hike was an extremely enriching experience. there wasn't much to write for descriptions but clifford lek cher kan made me crap my way through one side of foolscap talking about a benchmark. well it drizzled on the first day and we hiked about 18 km that day, so we were quite shacked. had about 4 hours of sleep, which is pretty decent, and we set off again today. i'll put the pics up tmr cos cliff is not replying me now. i got my iPod! 30GB. haha for those who know me, i need my music. hillsong and the hush sound. breakbeats and blink 182. 20 hours on the plane tmr doesn't seem so long now eh? haha yeah i'm off to the USA tmr. it'll be really fun. we're going to denver, colorado for 4 days, skiing in Veil and Aspen for 5 days and we'll be in LA for 2 full days. it'll be quite fun, as i predict. the only sad thing is that my older sis is not coming with me. oh poo. ah well. i guess she's happier elsewhere. that's one nestling that is about to leave the nest. till tmr then!

Studying

hello there. well the past few days (and by that i mean yesterday and today) have been fairly inconsequential. i got my haircut yesterday (another bad one), and then i met cliff and luke at great world to watch deck the halls. haha it was an average movie. quite ok. we then went to shaw to get our uniforms and then i headed home to watch TV. i cycled to the apple shop at cineleisure today to try and get my iPod exchanged but the warranty is up and it's damaged beyond repair, so i'll be getting the new (or not so new) 30GB model tonight. hopefully haha. well i'll be going on a hike tmr with cliff and won't be back till friday, and then i'll be off to Denver the next day and won't be back till the 23rd.

jasper wang (and many other ppl i'm sure) have already started studying! it's really really intimidating to know that ppl are already putting in so much effort. i remember last year melvin showed me his life sciences notes that he compiled and i was like 'crap. i haven't even started'. in the end i did better than him haha. anyway it's just that some ppl really study so hard at the start and everything but in the end ppl who don't study as hard still end up doing better. for example, sean lee studied considerably hard for this year's EOYs while cliff, dwayne and i will still sessioning like the week before the exams. and yet we still did better. i'm not saying that i didn't study cos i did. and i studied quite hard. but not as long or aas hard as others. then in the weeks preceding the exam when ppl ask me whether i've studied and i say no then they'll say 'yeah right. he probably says no and is actually studying so much at home'. that really really irks me cos i genuinely don't study till the last minute if not i'll forget. then there are also ppl like joash wong who hardly even study and he stills does so well. and he's reading manga before the tests while we're revising. MANGA!!!! naturally smart ppl like boobs and joash wong huai en can afford to that. anyway just FYI i haven't started studying yet and i don't plan to. cos by starting to study now it'll only be jumping on the bandwagon cos other ppl are. for me, i work better under pressure cos the days before my exam i'll actually be cramming for say bio. and cramming actually works for me cos i still remember a lot. lol but i can't cram next year though. i'll probably start 3 months before the exam instead of 3 days, like i did for bio, geog and social studies. or some like physics and chem which i just practiced the night before. and i did well in those as compared to bio and stuff. weird huh? aptitude i guess. hm. this rant isn't really coherent huh? there's no main point of focus for the paragraph. well, that's my rant. till friday (or saturday)!! bye!

well today was fun. ok let me start with Sunday, the 3rd of December. went to church and then to ngee ann city for lunch at sushi tei with my family. i finally have found my green Converse high tops! after my intensive and wide-spread search for that elusive pair of shoes, i finally found it outside the hello shop at orchard! yes and at $30. quite a steal. anyway robin and anthony came over that night to play xbox, and i managed to cure anthony's fear of dogs haha. at least i think i did. anyway went to school to get some stuff for cliff's CCA hike, and then sessioned for awhile with vince and cliff, after which they came to my house to play xbox. vince owned us today so cliff and i were forced to double-team him for the last match haha. quite fun. i'm gonna watch happy feet tmr. night!

Another Sleepover

well i had neil, isaac and ben over on friday for another sleepover haha. this one was a serious halo fest. say about 5 hours worth of halo 2? we played team slayer isaac and i got owned by neil and ben like 50-23. lol i'm a solo operator when it comes to vid games. there's no way i can cooperate. anyway we played many FFA matches after that and stuff. neil and isaac fell asleep at midnight but ben and i stayed up talking for like 2 hours till 2am then i fell asleep. i woke up at 8.30 and played halo 2 against isaac, and then the other 2 joined us. all in all about 9 hours worth of halo 2! funfunfun.

i was watching MTV's Sweet Sixteen show and all i can say is that all the teenagers there are spoilt rotten. really. cars as presents?? kanye west performing AT their birthdays?? i was like wha???? and yet they still throw tantrums if they can't make a grand entrance. if that happened in an asian family, i bet the stupid little brat would just get one tight slap. haha it was quite funny to see them get upset over the smallest things though. oh well. i'd better start my holiday homework soon. i'm off to denver in a week and won't be able to get much done. well that's it. night!

For The 3rd Time

ok i've watched Casino Royale again. for the 3rd time. even better!!!! haha yeah it was really good again. i went with joash, ben and i saac. then ben and isaac came over to play halo haha. i shan't say more. i then went to my maternal granma's house for dinner and went to collect my specs!! not my ideal choice (it's purple) but at least it's better than my ah pek and broken ones coughDWAYNEcough.

i saw neon green ones but the non-obssesive part of me said no. talk about eye-catcher though haha. anyway a short thing to rant about.

i really really dislike ppl who show off really n00b bboys moves like babyfreezes or shoulderfreezes on their MSN display pictures. yeah shoulderfreeze. big deal. if it's an airchair or at least an airfreeze ok i'm fine with it. but a simple freeze? please. i doubt he'll visit my blog but fine. no one wears caps when they shoulderfreeze or airfreeze. i dislike those who are in it just for the tricks. good thing that guy stopped already. anyway yeah i'm not teaching that guy no matter how many times he asks me cos he;s in it for the wrong reason. idiot. he pushed my buttons. ah well. it's not like i'm good at power anyway.probably footwork. it's just a hobby for me, but i'm possesive over my hobby :) and i dislike it when ppl who claim they can do it well can't. just my 2 cents. night.

Sleepover

well that was a lot of fun. yz, neil and cliff came over last night for a sleepover. halo fest!!! the first match was cliff and i versus yz and neil and we won. after that yz and i played against cliff and neil and we won again. so do the math and you'll see who's team to be on:) haha jkjk. we then watched bboy videos and some 'juggernaut bitch' one on youtube. we stayed up talking till like 2am and woke up at like 8.30. after some more halo (cliff and i swords on lockout, 24-25 haha. it was super close though), we went to great world to watch Casino Royale!!! it was even better the 2nd time. as in really it's the best Bond film i've ever watched. after the movie cliff and i went to sch to session. vince was 45 mins late. haha i didn't accomplish much, probably more endurance and stuff like that. till next time. night!

i ran up bukit timah hill yesterday. can't say i enjoyed it but like they say, no pain no gain. my dad and i ran up about 250 steps, each about 40cm in height. so effectively, we ran up about 100m vertical distance, and an additional 7km longditudinal distance. surprisingly, i'm not tired today. but i was yesterday. haha CSI supreme sunday on AXN rocked!!!! yz and neil are coming over later. i'll blog somemore then. later!

well sorry for not blogging for almost a week. i had IBA and i have to say it was really fun. here's what i did!

MONDAY
Catering! i had to scoop food and listen to dietitcians. especially this one bitchy one but oh well. she was quite nice haha.

TUESDAY
Physiotherapy! went to see the different aspects of it with speech, occupational, the gym, and the sports medicine centre. we were released early!!!! and the new TV came!!! a projector with a 110 inch screen. sweet. who wants to come to my place now haha.

WEDNESDAY
the lab! we saw a kidney and testicle dissection. OUCH. yao yu couldn't take it haha. we also helped out at the pneumatic tube system and transfered messages.

THURSDAY
radiology and bio-medical engineering! we saw all sorts of MRI and CT scams at radiology. very enlightening. bio-medical engineering was just fixing broken medical machines haha. we went to the ICU, the psycho ward, the isolation ward and the mortuary!

FRIDAY
pharmacy! lots of cuts packing medicine haha. joel and isaac came over to play xbox too!

OMG CASINO ROYALE WAS SOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously it's one of the best movies i've ever watched, almost on par with star wars and x-men!!! it was soooooooooooooooo AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. ok i'm kinda hyped now but it was so good, with the twist and the effects and the plot and the EVERYTHING!!!! oh Eva Green is eye candy as well, which proves i am NOT gay. oh man such a good movie!!!!! ah i have work tmr. Prefect's Trip

well i'm back!! prefect's trip was definitely more fun than expected! i had a lot of fun on those 4 hour long bus rides and all the theme parks and stuff. here's a breakdown of what we did!

THURSDAY
met in sch and set off for KL! stopped at some place for breakfast and we stocked up on chips and the sorts for the long journey. went to Mines resort for lunch, and we did some shopping. after dinner, we went to watch the fireflies. we were mosquito food haha. finally reached the hotel and we watched james bond!! managed to cover 117 songs for the whole journey from singapore haha.

FRIDAY
sunway lagoon! i swear that place is uber fun!! pics!!

well yeah it was really fun. the wave pool sand had worms in it. that was the gross part. other than that it was really enjoyable. we then went to the land part of sunway lagoon and i went on one rollercoaster, which was really mild compared to the others i've been on haha. we then did some shopping and had a mini bowling competition. 77 only. i suck at bowling haha. we then went to mid-valley shopping centre, the largest shopping centre in KL. i got a very nice green hoodie there for S$35. good deal considering cliff got his in singapore for $70. ha. we then went back to the hotel in the horrible KL traffic jam to watch more james bond!!

SATURDAY
we went to berjaya times square for the indoor theme park! we went on the rollercoaster 3 times! twice in a row! at least it was pretty good and thrilling. i went hypoglycaemic but went a third time anyway then i left to eat haha. i bought 2 ties and 2 t-shirts from F.O.S, and no chris that does not stand for 'full of shit'. haha anyway yeah we then headed back to singapore where i completed the other 114 songs on that playlist haha. 230 songs down, 721 to go haha.

the KL trip was really fun but everyone was in cliques. like the 'cool' group and the others. for our year at least. the sec 2s were all so united as one whole bunch and had no divides. sigh. well i had a lot of fun. till next time then. night!

well i'm back from my leave of abscence! many things have happened in the past few days: i went to the HPPS gym to practice flips, went shopping at Zouk and got drenched in today's @#%$^ downpour. here goes!

SATURDAY
i went to the HPPS gym with chris and had some flipping fun. felt nauseous throughtout the day. had a Neighbours get-together at 5. i finally have someone my age who is moving into the neighbourhood! his name is Hai-Sherng and he's in ACS International. he's not stupid though cos he's in Chess. cool. went out with my grandma and her friends for dinner

SUNDAY
church, followed by lunch at newton hawker centre! i then lazed around at home for a bit and left for Zouk to go shopping. terrible terrible place and i will not step into that god-forsaken club in the immediate future, which is like 5 years. it was so full of cigarette smoke i couldn't stay in there longer than 5 mins. i'm not the clubbing sort anyway. well i got 4 shirts for $15, which was really really worth it.

MONDAY
stupid rain has given me a migraine. i was supposed to run up bukit timah hill with stacey and neil, but then miss goh bombed out and neil and i were left at the foot of a 7km route. we attempted to run for a bit and then we gave up. i was soaked to the bone and my shoes were wet. then i came back and took Inu running around the neighbourhood for 45mins. that's why i'm uber tired now.

well today was fun. woke up and watched Friends and ten just bummed around and read my books and did some homework till 6. yes folks, HOMEWORK. had dinner there and then came back and watched more Friends haha. as promised, here is the pictorial update: my room! as you can see, i've been bored stiff lately. everyone either has con camp or IBA and i'm stuck at home doing absolutely nothing. not that i'm complaining though. ah at least there's CSI tonight, and i'm going to KL next week. prefects trip. well i don't really feel any belonging with the prefects, but what the heck. it should be fun. meeting cliff, dwayne and vince tmr at serene at about 6.30. if you happen to be in the area just drop it and say 'hi!'. i spent a good 2 hours on monday talking to them about next year's Gangshow mixed with utter nonsense, with dwayne swearing very very fluently. i watched Flushed Away today too. i must admit it was very good, one of the best animated movies i've ever seen. you guys really should catch it, cos it had a lot of substance. i shan't rave on about that stupid Chicken Little rubbish again, but yeah Flushed Away was pretty decent. oh and i'm going to Denver for the holidays! at first i thought we were going to Whistler, but then my dad changed his mind and said we're off to Colorado instead. quite psyched, though i would like to go to Whistler too. so many ppl i know are going there *hint hint* lol ok night then! expect a pictorial update tmr!!

i'm half-hoping sch starts soon. i'm like so bored at home cos my TV is still SPOILT. and that means i can't have any friends over cos my pool is spoilt too. so no swimming, xbox or movies. hmph. yeah went to session yesterday. i've been on bboying cold turkey for like over a week, and i improved! odd huh? anyway yeah the 'rents and i went to tanglin club for a swim and then we went to the Ritz Carlton for a very very good dinner. yummy yummy good food! oh well here's a picture i dug up. my coat of arms. haha i made it in boarding school when i was really bored. well the first part is quite self-explanatory. the second part has changed only twice, and that part shall be kept a secret :) the third part is actually an 'X', for x-men. the fourth quadrant is the most rapidly changing one of all. it was like swimming, tennis, rollerbaldes, drums and finally bboying. i think it will remain that way for a long long time haha. the coat of arms doesn't display my heritage but my changing interests over the years. comment on it yeah? ok night!!

HALLOWEEN 2006!

man i had so much fun yesterday. i'll always remember Halloween 2006. sooooooooooooo fun. i went to joel's place at 2 yesterday and played xbox and fooled around with our Force FX lighsabers a bit. haha when ben was playing xbox a dead lizard fell on him. DISGUSTING!! as many of you know, if there's one thing i'm scared of it's house lizards. the only animal i DESPISE besides the mosquito haha. childhood phobia. anyway we went trick or treating at 7 and didn't stop till like 9.30. oh man it was really really fun. we had, um, very original costumes this year. joel and i were the only ones that went as Jedi/Sith. ben went as superman/ harry potter, isaac went as a soldier, yi-sheng went as Neo, ZH went as some weird cross between a businessman and a monster, andrew went as a waiter and chris went as V. we then watched Family Guy, and that is officially my second favourite cartoon now, next to Spongebob haha. slept at like 2am and watched some more Family Guy when we woke up. we then fooled around with halo 2 for awhile and yeah here i am now! surprisingly, we weren't the oldest trick or treaters on the block. there were 2 other bunches of teens but they seemed really Gothy and preppy so we didn't join them. the 'hey nice house' trick worked again. more candy haha. as promised, here are the pictures!!!

Halloween Costume!

ok the sleepover was postponed. i though trick or treating was on the eve of Halloween haha. anyway i'm going as a Sith! complete with the lightsaber, which incidentally looks like a fluorescent lamp on good cameras but looks super real on a camera with really bad quality. or a webcam haha. yeah i can't wait to scare the little kiddies haha. well i tried to make it look sinister but i don't think i managed to pull that off. too bad there was no Cyclops costume or anything. expect pictures! bye!!!

Scout Camp

that was officially the most fun camp i have ever attended. sorry my batteries conked so i have no pics. i had a really really great time. no logistics, and i got to bond with my juniors. i played soccer and ultimate frisbee with them, and in all modesty, evened out the scores haha. when i was bored i was entertaining myself by spinning bowls. that really is the most therapeutic activity that doesn't involve money. just the spin and the sound is so....relaxing. anyway i got 5 measly hours of sleep and went to play archery the next day. came back and played 3 hours of waterpolo with my juniors again, and that was really really fun. it was indubitably the most fun activity during the camp and the most fun i've had in a week, despite the 4 leg cramps, 2 in each leg haha. we all had so much fun that we lost track of the score. we then watched tokyo drift and a bit of talking cock the movie, followed by the BBQ. curse those smoke-induced headaches. it was tremendous fun anyway.

today i went back to HPPS to help out. the parents were a bit intimidating, but i had fun catching up with my old friends. on a different note, my job attachment is at Changi General Hospital. that's at like the other end of singapore. looking forward to it though. haha i'm going to joel's house on monday for the Halloween sleepover. the last time i did that was in 2003, and i didn't even know we were going trick or treating. i remembered ben was complimenting the people's houses so he would get more sweets haha. haha we watched LOTR and zim till the wee hours of the morning. i wonder why they took it off Nickelodeon though. i'm quite sure this year will prove to be just as or more fun. this time i can safely promise to expect pictures yeah??? if not, i'll let everyone of you slap me 4 times each. ok nightie night!

short post as i need to go for sch. we had dinner with stef and family last night at crystal jade. quite nice to catch up and stuff since she's back off to Wickam Abbey this weekend. got back quite late and only fell asleep at 12am. ouch migraine. anyway i'll be at camp till saturday morning, so to compensate for my abscence, i will provide numerous pictures upon my return. it's going to be a un camp anyway, with water polo, archery, rock climbing, LAN gaming and what not. yay? oh well. see you on saturday!!!!

Boredom

i know other people have said this a gazillion times but i'm bored. the only thing i was looking forward to today was catching up with my friends on MSN and going to the Esplanade. then all the nice people to talk to either went offline or weren't even online. so i went to play BF2 on my grandma's TV, which incidentally does not have colour when i play xbox. after battling on Coruscant, Polis Massa and Space Felucia, i just lazed around the house and i watched Friends. yeah Friends, as always, was very good. then i left for the Esplanade, but i was a bit self-conscious cos there were many spectators. i met this bboy from France there. super strong guy with bulging biceps and all. quite a nice person too. he's off to Tokyo for a freestyle competition this weekend. the French have a very unique style, and he was no exception. met Gregg and the rest there too. well i got one solar eclipse today, though i could have done it before but just not as well. well with luck i'm going to the HPPS gym on saturday after the camp, then to ben's house for the Halloween sleepover on monday night. i'm going as (surprise surprise) Darth Vader before Obi Wan sliced his legs and arm off. complete with the Force FX Lightsaber!!! my dad got it as a surprise for me last year. wouldn't let me save up for it haha. oh well there's sch and con camp tmr. for the 4th time, i'm really glad con camp doesn't apply to me. night!

happy deepavali and hari raya! 2 holidays! today was pretty much the same. no classes and extre-long recesses. the only funny thing that happened was when i was playing 'running ji gou pa' with lampy, while running (duh) up the staircase. that was the extent of our boredom. prefect council 2007 was announced this morning too. let's just say people who didn't deserve certain positions got it and those who did deserve it did not. we live in an extremely biased world. 'nuff said. well anyway the haze has gotten better, and i dunno whehther to be happy or sad. haha anyway the scout camp has been shortened! from thursday to saturday morning!! yay!! Halloween sleepover at ben's place! looking forward to that. the camp should be really fun. on a different note, i dunno whether to go to the esplanade tmr or not. the 'rents will be returning from japan tmr too, then we're meeting stef and family for dinner on wednesday night. pardon my insensitivity, but no con camp is soooo sweet for me right now. and harry potter is becoming more and more captivating. ah 7th book come out now!!!! haha enough random rantings for today. bye!!

haha yesterday and today was fun! vince, dwayne, cliff and chris slept over. we were supposed to go to watch a movie at great world but then there were no seats so we went to the arcade instead. we then rented 'the benchwarmers' from VideoEzy and i watched it for the second time. still quite funny. we then swam in the afternoon today, and then headed to the esplanade to session! quite fun today, although there weren't many bboys there. a bit tired cos of the swim. stace then came to join us, and then we went to subway at suntec city for dinner. we then stoned at a pillar for like 10 mins and then i left for home. i love the post-exam period. i'm going back to the esplanade tmr! night!

NO CON CAMP FOR ME BABY!!!

haha i'm over the moon. 8 points for the final year exams!!!! A1s in enlgish, lit, SS, a.maths, geog and chem. almost failed e.maths. that was kinda expected. got a 57. considering i left like 1/4 of the paper blank, it went quite well. 67 for chinese, which was quite reasonable. get this, my physics BEAT my bio. 67 to 64. i thought i'd get an A1 for bio, but then i didn't. i thought i'd fail physics, but then i didn't. alls well ends well anyway. anyway, i got 78 for lit, 76 for SS, 77 for a.maths and 75 for both geog and chem. i got an 83 for english. and the essay which i thought i didn't write too well turned out good. first in standard for english!! i'm seriously really happy now. after days of studying (and yes i mean days, not weeks), after a week of endless fretting and worrying, i got to reap the fruits of my labour. a fair bit of moderation helped too. Rockerfella Crew is staying over tomorrow night, to celebrate. we'll then hit the Esplanade on saturday and sunday, since the 'rents will be away. i'm in really really high spirits today. all by God right? He's granted me the concentration and favour for me to do well. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the best thing is that almost all my friends did well too, so that means we can all session together! it'll be no fun if i was the only one who did well and the rest didn't. hoo boy the feeling hasn't sunken in fully yet, but i'm sure it will over the next few days. no con camp opens up myriads of possibilities for me: sessioning, Scouts Camp, Ben's sleepover, IBA and many many more! i'm sorry i'm just so PSYCHED!!! haha bear with me please. my condolences for those who didn't do too well. the bright side is that this is not the 'O' Levels, and there's still more than 10 months for improvement. i'm going to paint this town red. thanx for keeping me in your prayers! whoopee bye!

results on thursday. dreading it. a lot. as in a lot a lot a lot. especially both maths, chem and physics. i usually do well for maths so yeah i'm a bit worried. PE was fun though. it was like a free 1h20mins, and vince and i fake-suicided on the high jump mat, and i think i got a graze cos of that. played Uno and a lot of 'za' and 'ji gou pa' with nic ng, which was quite fun. oh well the haze looks really really bad. couldn't even session for like 10 mins without getting a headache. only cliff and i sessioned after our meeting. we sessioned for like 10 mins, and it was a very bad session. i couldn't even nike properly, and my handstands were lousy. cos of the stupid haze. so we went back inside. and then i watched them play taitee. jasper kept on losing, which was quite funny. cos of the haze, the scout camps and meetings and hikes will be adversely affected. good or bad, i'll let you decide. SAY NO TO CON CAMP! ok bye

crap results on thursday. and according to the deputy year director, 82% of us are off to con-camp. i hope it's another ploy to scare the living daylights out of us, cos it's worked. oh well. thursday will tell. my form teacher didn't mention anything to me, so i guess that's a good sign. she told luke cheang and aloysius that they failed chemO.O . and the furschlinging haze is getting worse. and i'm hiking on fri. well this week can either go really really well or really really badly. i personally hope it's the first one. and we're still having lessons! and we'll most likely go through the physics paper tmr, where my mind will just shut off and i will not listen to a single thing that my teacher says. as i've said before, only time will tell. if, or when, i don't go to con camp, the time saved will be well- utilized sessioning at the esplanade underpass. on a brighter note i got a distinction for the NSW creative writing thing, missing high distinction by one bl**dy mark. oh well. distinction's good i guess. night!

No More Sessions....

as ironic as it may seem, i won't be sessioning till thursday. cos of the scout meetings after school till 6pm. crap. i was really looking forward to sessioning, but our scout master couldn't make it on sat. crap. well i'm hoping that it will end early and then i'll be able to session. results will be back on wednesday. my fingers are really really crossed. argh stupid physics. and chem. and e.maths. oh well. i've been really really bored lately. i thought this marking holiday would be uber fun but that it's not to be. no.1: my TV is spoilt, no.2: i can't go to the Esplanade to session everyday and no.3: it's hazy, so no cycling, swimming, playing with the dogs etc. i think the only fun thing to do in my house is either to play Rollercoaster Tycoon or read the whole Harry Potter series again. i personally prefer the latter cos i love the books. it just opens up a whole new world y'know? it's like taking drugs. it's addictive, it's imaginary but it doesn't kill you and it's not illegal. and the plot never ceases to amaze me. not that i'm obsessed with it and walk around saying charms and stuff but just that it's really really good. i can't wait for the seventh book and the fifth movie. all the loose ends will be tied up, but yet i'll be said cos there's nothing left to distract me while i'm studying. it had better be like 2000 pages. oh well. enough ranting. night!

Esplanade!

today was my second time at the esplanade, and it was one of the best sessions ever. no nonsense, and still not extremely serious. just all-out, dancing fun. haha gimmicky. anyway yeah met a whole lot of new people, and they're all super nice. they'll like come up to you and shake your hands and stuff. met a Bgirl called Zoe, who's going to join Kyensai. s0ng and edmund were there too. and so were singapore's finest in bboying. it was a totally new experience for me, and i couldn't help but just be amazed and what they were doing. seeing an airflare in a video is one thing, but it's much cooler up close. it was more of an exposure trip than a session, and i was really awed by the atmposphere, and their crazy powermoves. since a picture is worth a thousand words, let me leave you with 4000 words!

A Good Session

well today was fun. we went to The Pines to session. most were quite hyped but some just weren't. ciphered and battled a bit. quite a unique experience. one thing, however, irked me quite a bit. half of the people who went didn't even want to cipher or anything, which was just plain stupid. and one particular person just blew $8 and he didn't even do anything, save a bit of toprock. this, to me, was just plain dumb cos then you might as well not just go at all right? oh well. we then went to orchard cinelesiure for lunch, and watched Talledega Nights. haha it was a very slapstick and predictable, but still very very funny. i'd rate it 7/10, for sheer comedic audacity. chris, dwayne and i went to Heeren, and we window shopped for a bit. then i came home and swam in the rain. it's quite a nice feeling actually, because it's nice to be in the serenity of the pool and hear the rain beating overhead. a totally unproductive day, but those days are the best right? picture time!

final grading!

Geog 1- 3/10. very easy, but our teacher said it was easy cos many people failed paper 2. uh oh.

A.Maths 2- 6/10. quite reasonable, but i've lost 6 marks cos of careless mistakes. like 1/10th of the paper.

oh well. what's done is done. had a short Dragon Patrol meeting after the papers, and then we sessioned for like 10 mins, and then headed out to Far East Plaza. quite fun, cos everyone was very hyped, and countless lame jokes ensued. we were reduced to a laughing bunch at Subway, attracting stares from onlookers. ha. we as in chris, cliff, dwayne and i. which turned out to be the whole of Rockerfella Crew. chris then got laces, and we walked around a bit, and tried to restrain dwayne from sessioning. unsuccessfully. haha yeah we walked around for quite a bit. up and down and all over the place. i was supposed to get my sneakers but they weren't on offer anymore. well they were the last time i went but $49 is a bit much to pay for sneakers, considering my fake china one cost only $4. haha. anyway yeah tmr is the day of numerous battles! Rockerfella is going to cypher again, and then we'll have one-on-one battles. looking forward to that. 3h full of hardcore-sessioning. we're gonna catch a movie after that, most likely tallegeda nights. then we're going to the esplanade underpass to see the pros session on friday. yep. you know what they say: word hard, play harder. happy end of exams(unless of course, you are stacey goh, who's exams haven't started yet. sorry stace)!

grading time!

E. Maths 2- 7/10. easier than paper 1. didn't manage to complete it though.

Biology- 6.5/10. bio has redeemed my other sciences! i had enough time to do paper 1 twice! quite a fulfilling paper, but my only fear is that i didn't write enough. oh well. time will tell i guess. the good thing is it was more manageable than the other 2 sciences.

after bio, 1 and a half hour session ensued. chris, dwayne, cliff and i had a cypher: an open battle, but no burning. just for fun. and it was a lot of fun. pity GK, fred and vince didn't take part though. oh well. thursday will tell. geog paper 1 and a.maths 2 left! then i'm going to watch tallegeda nights on fri. fun fun fun!

grading time again.

chinese 1- 6/10. quite reasonable, but it's chinese. anything can happen.

chinese 2- 6/10. when i saw last year's super super hard paper, i thought this year would be the same. thank God i was wrong. half of my answers for the close passage were same as the class' resident chinese whiz, so it's ok.

tomorrow's my only chance of redemption. for both subjects. my bio has to redeem my both sciences. not that it will make any difference academically, but it'll let me rest in peace (ha!). it is also imperative that i do well for e.maths 2 as my e.maths 1 was an utter and complete diasaster. yeah so i'm hoping for the best. sessioning for awhile tmr. geog's already all in my head and i'll be having maths tuition after that. then it's time to PARTAE!!!!! night!

ok so i may not have done 9 chapters today. but i did 6! 6 whole chapters! in my book, that's a new record right there. and 6 is good considering that i went out for a 3h lunch with the rents and their friends. leaves me with 3 and a 1/2 chapters tmr. digestion, half of nutrition, the eye and the endocrine system. should be down in 3h. chinese tmr. stupid stupid close passages and other stuff. just hoping for a 60. 3 more days. 5 more subjects. or should i say, 2 more subjects and 3 half subjects. thursday will be so fun. dwayne has already challenged me to a friendly battle, and there will still be many many more battles going on that day. our first taste of battling. well my second, cos dwayne challenged me sometime ago. oh well. chinese tmr. keep me in your prayers!

Stuff Biology

well i should have covered 8 chapters of bio by now. i've done a grand total of 2, and half of 3 other chapters. tmr i will attempt to complete 9 chapters of bio. in 12 hours. not entirely impossible. considering the last few chapters are like 6 pages each. oh well. thursday session will be great. total will come up to $7.50 for 3 hours of sessioning the Pines dance studio. i can predict that everyone will be very very hyped up and there will be many battles. yeah i'm blogging for tmr cos i should be busy studying tmr. and if you see me online ask me to get off please. thanx a million.

here's something i found on YouTube. the RGS performance! our first performance and we didn't win. lost it to RI. haha the famous (or infamous) performance with chris (haha he's going to kill me but i don't care) and his mills. he's in black pants and white top, i'm in blue with my very useless and awful-looking waves, jasper is in white, cliff is in black and dwayne is in brown. haha it's nice to see how much we've improved over 4 months. enjoy!

Exams Part 2

well it's the weekend again. 5 more days till my freedom. here's my paper rating

E.Maths 1- 8/10. one of the worst papers. seriously messed it up. and it was supposed to be EASY! paper 2 will be hard. that's it. maths and bio this weekend.

Lit- 5/10. the passage-based question was our term 3 class test question. what are the odds huh? generally easy, but the unseen prose was a bit difficult.

A.Maths 1- 6/10. i added one point cos i've already lost 8 marks out of 60. a generally easy paper. not to mention satisfying. on the other hand, trigo identities did not come out. which means it will be there in paper 2. yeuck. well i have the weekend to practice!

this weekend it's all bio and maths. my next fear is chinese cos my close passage is horrendous. oh well i'll be praying for the best. that's all i do nowdays anyway haha. stayed back to practice flag raising and for a half-hour session. kinda broke my resolution, but what the heck. it raises my immunity and it helps me de-stress. and since now ang mo kio secondary has 300 cases of gastric flu, you can't be too sure. jonathan ng ADAMANTLY says that we're not relaxing and that we're dancing. he said 'rubbish. dancing does not de-stress you'. lol he's one of the funniest teachers to have taught me. and good geog hints too. got me an 86 last year. anyway yeah cliff, dwayne, vince, fred and i just sessioned for awhile. great fun. i'm going to session till 7pm next wednesday. after the exams.

Exams

ok chere's a rating of all the papers done so far, 10 being the hardest and 1 being the easiest.

EL 1- 7/10. considering i only had 20 mins to write the 2nd essay. i seriously messed up my essay. crap.

SS- 5/10. reasonable, but i almost ran out of time and had a neck cramp.

PHYSICS- 10/10. GG lah for physics. i found out o got 22/40 for MCQ. as long as i get a 40/80 for paper 2, i'll be content.

EL 2- 4/10. quite easy.

Chem- 8/10. NO TIME!! and i don't think i'll do well for MCQ. i'm praying that paper 2 yanks me up like a bungee cord.

Geog 2- 7/10. i added 1 point cos of the serious lack of time, resulting in my answers for natural resources to be very scrawled. and another point because of the HORRIBLY DRAWN diagram on coasts. @#$%. stupid thing lost me 5 marks. oh but the last question was very fulfilling. 'describe the advantages and disadvantages of renewable resources.' man that was so good. i just regurgitated everything. 6 marks in the bag i hope.

well that's all so far. desapite the difficulty, i'm still kinda optimistic for some reason. just no failures and i'll be quite happy. doing well for EL, chem, geog, and chinese will make me even happier. anything can happen right? and in case i fail anything (which i really really hope i don't), i'm gonna session my (ego ego) considerably large brains out on the days after the exam. and i'll welcome any and every single form of moderation with open arms. keep me in your prayers!

so tmr is the SS and english paper. crammed 60 pages worth of SS in 4 hours.i'm not too worried about enlgish. come wednesday the worse will be over. physics the bane of my existence is on tuesday. and then chem and geog.yeagh. i don't like mass exams. i somehow feel more assured in the safety of my classroom with 35 boys who i have spent 9 months with. and plus we get let off earlier if we start earlier. that never happens for mass exams. and we also don't have to move our tables back and forth. oh well. i'll blog again on wed. by then the worst will be over, with only chinese and bio to deal with. for the record, i don't sing. all the best for your EOYs!

blogger conked. we had a good session today. last session before the exams and rockerfella crew's first session. oh the irony. yuan hao came and did splits to flares. good stuff. i can session in 2 more weeks. ahhh i'll survive. i'll be so caught up in F=ma, mol=mass/Mr, factors that affect temperature, intercostal muscles and cranial reflexes, basis of comparison and not to mention stupid old Macbeth. oh well. 14 more days and i'm gonna session like there's no tomorrow. i have to study first though.

hm i had an astonishing appetite today. 4 ham sandwhiches and 2 glasses of chocolate milk for breakfasts. then i downed 2 packets of hi-chews. btw i think apple hi-chews have drugs in them cos i can't seem to stop eating those lovely little treats. then i had 2 bowls of fruits for my before-lunch snack. and then i had boon tong key chicken rice, followed by a kaya puff thingy from esso and a tuna puff. and i'm still a very light 45kg. hur hur. i covered a lot of x-men comics today. sigh. if only they were tested for exams. then i may be reading geog and physics for leisure! . that future is too unbearable to imagine. agh 8 more days till the exam begins. and i should be worried. but i'm not. i guess God has given me peace. which is good. ok for my stressed freinds, here's one of the best shows of all time: Whose Line Is It Anyway

friday's session was really good. got a whole new toprock, longer nikes, 3 solars and a one-handed forearm hanstand! haha i find sessioning in sch much better than doing so at home. yes yes. had tuition today and read my x-men comics. i'll do bio tmr lah. surprisingly, i have no feeling of anxiety or stress. yet. oh well i guess that's good. i can't wait for the exams to be over! i can session everyday after that! argh study now play later. one chapter of bio today. tmr i'm going to finish half the geog syllabus. hm funny this afternoon i thought i had a lot to blog about. turns out i don't.

well only one person solved the puzzle. and i have unknown people/ people posing as other people/ siblings posing as other people tagging my tagboard. haha gives it a kick doesn't it? anyway here's a picture of me on the cruise altered to look like one of my favourite x-men. as i was going through my vast collection just now, i realized why i loved the comics so much. the newer one has better artwork, but the simplicity and the feel of the old one is just better. colossus wasn't dead, archangel didn't have metallic wings and magneto was the coolest villain. then the movies had to come and mess it all up. those were the days. man i love that comic. anyways thanks for tagging guys! stace commented that the angle of the optic blast was wrong. haha yeah it is a bit off. in my defence, try drawing straight with a very rough mousepad. haha till next time then. enjoy!

The Pressure Is On

i'm starting to feel the pressure. and it's increasing with everyday. people are becoming more frantic. more short-fused. and i've started studying bio. one chapter. in like 20mins. i spent the rest of the afternoon reading comics. heh. today was quite fun. the physics test was ok. played 'zha' during PC with ben chong, lampy and nic ng. quite fun haha. then our PCT gave us a talk on com camp at the end of the year. the whole class almost wet their pants. very scary. kick starts the adrenaline and makes you want to study right? oh well. i'm looking forward to tmr's session. it'll be a great stress-reliever. btw one person has solved the puzzle! hurry hurry! get those brain juices (or your lack of) working! ok byee!
