today was ok. dwayne and vince slept over after the gangshow, and we had a halo 2 marathon to like 3am. well they did. not me. i got bored after the first game. we then watched fun with dick and jane. quite funny. after the first 10 mins i realized that i was missing my sleep (i love sleeping!).in the morning, we gamed somemore and swam in the afternoon. they then had a 1 hour nap while i used the com. and then they left. quite fun.
onto something totally random. have you ever experienced equal misery? like when someone in your row talks and the whole row has to stay back? or this one person doesn't do duty and your whole row must do duty again? yeah i think it sucks. not the person who deals out the punishment but the whole concept of the punishment. it's a vicious cycle. people say it encourages teamwork but that's a whole load of crap. you ask your friend to keep quiet, and you're caught for talking. or you wake a friend up in class and you're scolded for talking. and then you're punished. dumb right? i mean it's just another outlet for sadistic people to vent their anger. if one guy did something wrong, what's the point of punishing the group? if the reason is for the group to pressurize him, and 'punish' him in a sense, why can't the person who deals the punishment do it him/herself? i think it's just really silly. and it will make the innocents dislike the person even more. why punish the people who had nothing to do with it for someone else's mistake?
btw on my post on tight shirts and short skirts, the BOB jogged my memory of it happening in other places, not singapore. yeah thanx joash! i guess i phrased it wrongly. heh heh. and by tight i mean bare midriffs.
