to say the least, last night was a blast. i went to dwayne's house to seesion at 1630, on a ROAD. ouch. handstands and crickets were quite painful to do there. despite that, we were all very very hyped about the performance, despite our lack of an item. lol. we all knew how much was at stake. the whole face of our sch was at stake. so we practiced like never before. this was arguably the BEST SESSION we've ever had. just the 3 of us. chris, dwayne, and i. very focused, and no wasting of time. we were late for the campfire cos we got lost. haha. then we went there to practice for like 10mins, then we watched the show. we were actually quite tired already, cos dwayne had bowling in the morning, which we won. we were the last performance. all of us were surprisingly calm, and upon hearing the cheer of the crowd, all of us felt a wave of confidence. we had a final prayer before we went on stage, and i believe that was the key to our success. first time we performed on grass. i had to say it made my moonwalk somewhat difficult, and i almost fell. other than that, we improvised from our falls and we came back, and the crowd was none the wiser. dwayne recovered from his fallen L-kick with a kip-up, and chris did a pretty good L-back, despite what frederic said. haha. sorry i've got no video. it was too dark to see anything. to cut a long story short, we won. we actually won Best Item. just the 3 of us. like dwayne said, half the people, half the effort, twice the reward. this was our first TRUE Best Item. the one with s0ng doesn't count cos he was half the show. we were so psyched upon hearing that we won, and we thanked God again. and after that we had photo-taking!

me on my toesall in all, it was a very very memorable performance. it's a pity that the other half of the DC wasn't here to share the glory with us, cos each of them had theire own commitments. quite funny though. our first real award won by half the commitee. as clement said, ' Aiyah, you 3 perform can already.
